Greg Hathaway counsels clients involved in residential, commercial, industrial and recreational projects to secure land use and environmental entitlements for property development. He is a former County Counsel for Washington County, one of the three counties in the Portland Metropolitan area. He represents government agencies and property owners in the Oregon land use process, including work ranging from securing approval for Tri-Met's Westside Rail Project, representing a national retailer in the entitlement of stores throughout Oregon to securing entitlements for golf course projects such as The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club, Langdon Farms and Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in the Portland Metropolitan area, and The Centennial Golf Club located in Southern Oregon. Greg successfully represented a national retailer before the Oregon Supreme Court in the landmark land use case, Siporen v. City of Medford. He has developed a reputation as one of the leading Land Use lawyers in Oregon. Greg frequently speaks on land use and real estate development topics and has Co-Chaired the Oregon Land Use Law Conference for The Seminar Group for the past 20 years.
